Personal Banker I, II or III (part-time, 29 hours)

Personal Banker I, II or III (part-time, 29 hours)
Key Accountabilities:

Key elements in this service delivery are achieving sales, service and operational initiatives. The position exists to increase the Credit Union’s relationship with its members by improving their financial life and delivering the exceptional member experience.

• Member relationships are maintained.
• Strong product and process knowledge are demonstrated.
• Credit union assets are protected by maintaining losses and other risk issues within acceptable guidelines.
• Assigned sales and/or referral goals are met.
• Projects the professional image of the Credit Union.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Personal Banker I

Must have average knowledge of fundamental arithmetic.

Must feel comfortable handling large amounts of cash and working with computer terminals.

Must be accurate and attentive to details, courteous, neat in appearance and patient in dealing with the members and other employees.

Personal Banker II

All knowledge and skills required of Personal Banker I

Possess and demonstrate strong sales skills and be achieving assigned sales goals

Personal Banker III

All knowledge and skills required of Personal Banker I and II

Must demonstrate ability to understand loan policy and procedures within 90 days of assuming the position.

 

Required Background (Education, Experience and Certifications)

Personal Banker I

One to twelve months of similar or related experience in retail, finance with cash handling experience

High school diploma or GED.

Must be able to achieve proficiency on relevant Credit Union systems.

Must have passed any and all exams given during the assigned training courses.

Personal Banker II

All requirements of a Personal Banker I and have successfully completed all Personal Banker I assessments

Two years successful sales and service experience at a financial institution or equivalent


Personal Banker III

All requirements of a Personal Banker I and II and have successfully completed all Personal Banker I and II assessments
