Two Promoted in Human Resources

April 10, 2014

Financial Center Federal Credit Union recently promoted Jo Kiel to Senior Vice President leading the Human Resources, Facilities and Operational Support functions. While Kiel earned a degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University, most of her experience has been in the credit union industry. She has worked in financial services for 25 years, 20 of those with Financial Center, where she has specialized in Retail Operations and Human Resources.

Kiel believes that one of her most important roles is to create and manage credit union culture; “…to simply provide the team the tools they need to do their job, remove the barriers that get in the way and manage the culture insomuch that it inspires passion and purpose.”

Financial Center has also promoted Gina Johnson to Director of Human Resources in charge of recruitment, benefit administration, employee relations, and resource planning. She has been with the Credit Union for over eight years, most recently serving as the District Retail Sales Manager of the Main Office. Johnson holds a degree from Morehead State.
